The
Administration Department includes the Town Manager and office personnel. The
Town Manager of Beulaville is Scotty Summerlin. The Town Manager is appointed
by the Town Board and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day functions
and services of the Town. The major duties of the Town Manager include advising
the Board on the financial position and future needs of the Town; ensuring the
implementation of policies and activities in each Town department; and representing
the Board of Commissioners and the Town of Beulaville in business with other
agencies. In addition, the Town Manager researches and proposes alternative
approaches for achieving Board objectives, and presents data to assist the Board
in policy development and ordinance adoption.
The
Administration Department's function is to support the Town and its departments.
Lori Williams is the Town Clerk and the Financial Officer. The employees of the Town of Beulaville are
Brenda Kennedy, and Lori Denton. The department's primary functions
are water/sewer billing and collections, municipal tax billing and collections,
and zoning, as well as payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable,
and benefits administration for all departments. Administrative personnel
are available to assist citizens in establishing a water/sewer account, providing
information on all Town functions and services, and issuing zoning and business
permits. We pride ourselves on outstanding customer service and strive to
