Welcome to the Beulaville Police Department. The Police Department was established in 1947. The Police Department currently consists of 5 full time officers and 8 part time officers. The Beulaville Police Department prides itself in it's dedication to serving the citizens of Beulaville. The Department has some of the latest technological equipment available for fighting crime and drugs. Some of the equipment the Department currently utilizes includes a thermal imager, as well as covert surveilance equipment.


The Police Department has had four police chiefs since its establishment in 1947. The previous Chiefs of Police in chronological order are Roscoe Almond Bass, H.J. Brown, Lester Susa, and Aubrey Murphy. The current Chief of Police is Hal Williams.  Chief Williams began his Law Enforcement career in 1973 as a Dispatcher at the Duplin County Sheriffs Office in Kenansville.  In 1975, he relocated to the Beulaville Police Department where he moved up throught the ranks of Sgt., Capt., and eventually Chief.  Since 1975, Chief Williams has been a contributing member to the Beulaville community, striving to make the best of his department and serving the citizens of Beulaville with a commitment to excellence. In the wake of new technology, Chief Williams has pursued his commitment to his department by obtaining new equipment and supplies for the department through State and Federal Grants. Chief Williams has also placed computers and the latest video equipment in the patrol cars, thus helping the Officers become more efficient in their daily duties. The motto of the Beulaville Police Department is "To Protect And Serve."
